A police officer was arrested and taken to a detention center after an alleged domestic incident. The victim was found to have finger marks on her left wrist. The victim claimed to hang up the phone after dialing 911 for fear police would not believe her, according to court documents. A reason provided was that Lamoreux is also a police officer with the Santa Fe Police Department. Police spoke to Lamoreux regarding the incident. Court records show Lamoreux told police he did not know how her wrist marks would have gotten there. Police identified Lamoreux as the primary aggressor. He was arrested on a battery against a household member charge and was booked into Sandoval County Detention Center. Santa Fe police confirmed Lamoreux is placed on alternate duty status.
