This is an easy low carb bread recipe that you could double the quantities and bake in a bread loaf tin too.

It's as simple as mixing the wet ingredients until smooth, then add the dry, shape and bake!

Add the hot water at the end half at a time. Different brands of coconut flour and psyllium husk powder can yield different results and may not need as much water. Add the water until you have a pliable dough.

Recipe Tips

To make the rolls extra light, sift all the dry ingedients before using them.

Make sure the oat fiber is the white one as some brands are more golden and have a stronger flavour.

For a wholemeal texture add a couple of tablespoons of flaxseed meal.

Hi, I have made this recipe twice and loved it. However, the calories you show here do not add up. I have tried four different nutrition calculators, and none of it showed the buns as being 67kcal. The lowest calories I managed was 77 (using all the ingredients with the lowest calories brands I could find). What brands did you use?

Glad you liked the recipe. The coconut flour was Red Bobs Mill, the psyllium husk powder is Now. I think the yogurt is fa*ge.

Also any tips on how to make them lighter like regular hot dog buns?
    And can we use yeast?
    If yes how ?
Do we need to replace with anything and how to incorporate in the recipe??

I would really like to try this recipe but I need US measurements and couldn't quite get some of the amounts to where I think they'll work right for something baked. It would be really helpful if you would consider putting a gadget on your webpages that lets your readers click to convert the recipes for metric or US measurements automatically ;-D

I really want to try these and have been looking for something just like this! But, I really don’t like Greek yogurt, can I substitute cream cheese, farmers cheese or sour cream?

Yes you could. The texture might be a bit heavier with cream cheese but it should still work.
